Our Story
Born from heritage.
Carried by you.
There is a photograph of our grandmother standing in a Cairo market, 1962. She is not posing. She is choosing fabric.
Her fingers are reading the weave the way some people read faces — for character, for honesty, for what the material will become under pressure.
Five generations of this family have worked in fashion and craft. Not always in the same country. Not always in the same trade. But always with the same instinct: that the things we carry say something about the life we are building.
FELUS is a family name. It traces back to Arabic and Spanish immigrants who settled in Greece, carrying trades and traditions across borders the way most people carry luggage — out of necessity, with care. The name survived languages and centuries. It felt right to let it carry something new.
The Name
Already ours.
We did not choose "FELUS" from a branding exercise. It was already ours.
The monogram — a stylized Φ, the Greek letter phi — is a nod to the place where the work is finished, but also to something older: the golden ratio, the idea that beauty follows a proportion you can feel before you can measure.
The Philosophy
Luxury lost something along the way.
Somewhere between seasonal drops and algorithm-driven trends, it forgot to be personal. It forgot to be slow.
We make one design at a time. We produce it in numbered editions. We do not follow a fashion calendar. When a collection is ready, it is ready. When it is gone, it is gone.
This is not scarcity for its own sake. It is a commitment to the idea that the things worth having are the things that took time — to make, to find, to understand.
A FELUS bag in ten years should look earned, not worn out. And the woman carrying it should feel like she chose it, not like it was sold to her.
Made by Time
What would it look like to build a brand with no rush?
We started with that question. We still ask it.
