The leather is finished lightly, so it keeps its natural feel. It will soften and take on the marks of use over the years. That is how it should age.
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
If it gets wet, blot it. Don't rub. Let it dry on its own, away from radiators and direct sun.
Once or twice a year, a little neutral leather cream. Test it first on a hidden spot.
Keep it out of strong sun for long periods. The colour can soften.
Store it in its dust bag, filled lightly with tissue so it keeps its shape. Keep it upright, not hung by the handles.
Never store it in plastic. Leather needs to breathe.
The lining is suede too. Keep pens capped and powders closed.
