Every FELUS bag carries a serial number, given to it once the weave is finished and the bag has passed through every hand it needs to. That number is not decoration. It is a record — proof of exactly where your bag sits within a finite run of 400 numbered editions per design.
Where to find it
The serial number sits on the interior hangtag, stamped or printed alongside the edition size — for example, 137/400. It is deliberately placed somewhere you will notice it each time you reach into the bag, not hidden away where it is easy to forget.
What it actually records
The number tells you two things: how many pieces of that design exist in total, and which one is yours. Once a design's 400 editions are gone, no more are made — so the number is not just an identifier, it is a fixed place in a story that will not be repeated.
Why we keep count at all
Counting forces honesty. It is easy to call something "limited" without ever proving it. A serial number is the proof — a number you can point to, a line that does not move. It is also, quietly, the beginning of an archive: a record of which bags exist, and where they went.
