The East West with texture. Hand-cut raffia fringe along the base gives the wide silhouette a softer, more playful edge. The proportions are the same — the personality is looser. Dimensions: 32 × 21 × 12 cm (W × H × D).
Movement, traced across the longest line of the bag: the fringe runs the full width, cut by hand in Athens from the same sun-dried fibre described in The Materials, so it walks like a wave when you do. Beneath it is the ION construction in full — handwoven over days in Madagascar, leather-finished in Greece, and numbered before it leaves the workshop. The making is worth reading about in The Craft.

FAQ
Is raffia waterproof?
Raffia is a natural fiber and is not waterproof. Avoid prolonged exposure to rain or moisture. If your bag gets wet, let it air dry naturally — never use a hairdryer or direct heat.
Will my bag look exactly like the photos?
Each ION is handwoven individually, so slight variations in weave, texture, and tone are natural. These aren't defects — they're the signature of the artisan who made it.
How should I store my ION?
Store it in the dust bag provided, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Stuffing the interior with tissue paper helps maintain the shape.
Can I return my bag?
